A Flash movie with all Flashblocks ML components (Flashblocks, Editblock, and Mediablock) on stage adds 27 KB to the published swf. 10 KB of this is the shared component architecture, so Flashblocks, being used with other Flash components, would actually only take up 17 KB.

Note that Flashblocks components may be placed into a shared library reducing download time for multi swf websites.
