Some questions from a new user 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago
|
|
Hi, I'm an italian new user, so first sorry for my english, I bought Flashblocks just yesterday and I need to use it to refresh a site made two years ago, the site has some html pages, many of the same include swf files that also load other external sfw; I read the "Multi SWF Websites" of the "ReadMe" file, but I would like to ask you:
•can I use the same license for every fla/swf file used in the same site?
•if I can, I need to include the entire contents of the site in the www directory to upload, or can I include only the contents that use the Flashblocks component?
Many thanks, alberto.

Yes, that is fine. Although I am not sure I understand your second question. The www directory represents the location of main html page. It would be ideal to have only one copy of the flashblocks directory for your website in order to keep everything in one place but if you had to, you could have several copies in different directories.

Hi, thanks for your answer, about my second question, probably it's my mistake, I've understood I need to upload to the server a www directory including flashblocks directory and "include.php"; but I think I had to upload the flashblocks directory and "include.php" file to my existing site directory (www) on the server, for example, referring to the image "my_www_directory.jpg", the "../liquidalassio.com" directory is what you mean for "www directory", that's right?
Best regards, alberto.

Many thanks!
I had already watched the video tutorial, but spending too short time exploring the component, I thought it was neccessary upload the www directory that comes with the product, and that was just an example.
Sorry once again, alberto.

The www directory just represents your root directory. The entire contents of the www directory should be uploaded to your server, where you website resides.
