impossible to embed fonts 2 Months, 1 Week ago
hi...
well i tried everything to creat a textfield with fonts embeded...
i configured the F8 flashText2.9.3.fla but the fonts are not available in the text editor
i created a hidden textfield with embeded fonts.

when ever i publish the movie with fonts embeded the text is not visible.
witout embeded fonts everything works fine.
so whats wrong.
another problem is that when i run the gallery the the taht should appear in the big textfield is not visible as well...
please help it drives me creazy

Hey

I've been having the same problem and have gone over the html editor guide in the ReadMe file.
However, I do not have the "flashblocks_htmleditor.fla" file. It was not included in the download.
Furthermore, what should the "F8 flashText2.9.2.fla" be exported as? I mean, which name and what placement?

flashText2.9.3.fla is the latest Flashblocks html editor. The fla publish settings are set to publish directly into the www/flashblocks/editors/ directory.

1. Open flashText2.9.3.fla
2. Set your font outlines
3. Publish.

You can download the latest version of Flashblocks here. flashText2.9.3.fla is included.

pascal once again! I'm having major troubles embeding font too! I followed the video tutorial step by step and although I can see my embeded fonts in the texteditor dropdown the text doesn't show when set to the embeded font... not even in the text editor.. any hint? cannot continue working without embeding the fonts .. heeelp!

I solved the problem by copy-pasting the "pixel font" text field to create the other...
