Hi!
I have bought FlashblocksML also because I found interesting the feature of images into text fields. I know you changed text editor because FlashArea has the famouse "rolling text" bug .. but could you explain how to integrate FlashArea as flashblocks default text editor? I tried to put all the FlashArea files in the editors folder and to rename FlashAreaHtml.swf to flashblocks_flashText.swf and the editor appears but doesn't integrate with flashbloks.

Then, I have also bought page flip from pageflip.com. I've inserted a textfield but there is a strange effect. The text seems to be attached to the previous page when turning.

It look like you need to embed the font you are inserting. System fonts can not bend nor mask.

The new FlashText editor allows image insertion as well. You may need to upgrade to the latest version.

I'm sorry, I wanted to say that with the new editor you don't have browsing/uploading features when inserting images into text field .. Is not possible or too difficult to integrate the FlashArea editor?

Download and unzip the attached file. You will find an editors directory. Place it's content into your flashblocks/editors/ directory to use the older FlashArea html editor.

Note, you must remove the current editors/config/flashblocks_FlashTextHtml.xml config file.

I still have problems with the page flip. I have embedded the font as you wrote but the problem is the same.

You can see that he text is a little jagged which, in most cases, means that the text field does not have the embedded font.

1. remove the flashblocks component from the stage of the external 13.fla as it is not needed on stage.

2. drag and drop the "PRELOAD embed fonts" movie clip into the stage of the external 13.fla. Note that you can remove it from the main lib.fla because lib.fla does not display any embedded text. You only need to embed the font outlines in each fla that uses them.

Although not necessary, you will benefit from learning how to use shared library items in Flash. There are many tutorials online and you can find an example shared library flashblocks site here.
