Images not resizing - what am i doing wrong? 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Hi,

I am using a mediablock in my website and the whole site works fine, data can be saved - text and images can be loaded. But images will not resize - why is this? I thought they did automatically.

What would cause them not to resize and is there anything extra that I need to do to make them resize?

Looking at the tutorial the mediablock was just placed on the stage and fiven an instance name and an editblock and that was it.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Most likely your flashblocks/data/resize directory needs write permission. Try setting this directory to 777 and see if that works. It is a good idea to ask your hosting provider about the best setting for allowing write access.

You could also be missing the GD2.0. library. This is usually compiled into php but you may need to ask your hosting provider to enable this.
