Multiple of same component - Smooth Scroller2 2 Months, 1 Week ago
|
|
Hi,
I can't get two smooth scroller to work. They both load the same xml and I think I have tried everything except the right method.
I search the forum and found about list module, but still I can't get it to work.
Pleas explain so an idiot understand.. I'm extremely stupid.. =)

Make sure that each scroller has a unique instance name.

It's done. I change them to ScrollerListNews2 and scrollerFull2.
Should I change the code on the keyframe as well?
ScrollerListNews2.linkContent = "listMod" scrollerFull2.linkContent = "listModFull"

Yes.
Or skip the actionscript and drop an Editblock on each and enter the linkage ID via actionscript.

No code, just remove the code you posted and then drop an Editblock on the scroller. When editing via Flashblocks you should have the option to enter a linkage ID.

listMod if that is the linkage ID. you may need to look up how Flash works with linked library items. It's pretty simple once you get the idea.
