News,Blog module 2 Months ago
Hello, I'm using the smooth scroller, working great, however, I want to use it as a news/blog scroller. I'm trying to use the list module. It is showing up, and it works as the list, however, it isn't really working with the smoother scroller..

It just kinda cuts off the entry..

and doesn't scale down so you can scroll and read the rest of the text entry.

The demo site has several example on using the smooth scroller 2 module to display and scroll the list module. See layer news2, store, and store2. Notice that the actionscript on these layers point the smooth scroller instance to the list movie clip linked library item.

I'm lost.. I can't seem to get this. All I want is to have a working news section.. I don't care what module it is... I just need it to work, and work with the smoother scroller, or smoother scroller2..

When I tried the news thing' it does nothing. Am I supposed to put it inside the "holder" instance?

The simplest way to get it working would be to copy the "Module List News,Store,Blog" folder and the "Module Smooth Scroller2" folder from the demos site, into your fla library. Then copy the key frame on frame "news2", layer "News & RSS" into your fla.
