I can't put my finger on the linking bug. But there seems to be something amiss.

Yes, when upgrading, you will be able to swap out three files and everything will be upgraded.

what happened to this? this upgrade process is confusing and not just a simple 3 file swap as stated earlier. what is the "new" file referred to in the upgrade doc?

i'm so frustrated at this point. i'm still not sure why the build .zip never has just a nice simple demo file to work from.

i have numerous jobs i could use this on if only it were documented better. i'm lost, i'm out time and have to revert back to our custom solution here.

I will be polishing up V1.4 this week and releasing a V1.4.1 I am sure.

I rushed the release, as I knew you needed it right away (actually stayed up all night.) Anyway, let me know where you are having trouble and I will work through it with you. Feel free to email as it would be quicker. Actually if you have MSM installed, my user name is flashblocks@hotmail.com . I know how these things can get critical.

upgrading site from V1.2. instructions 3 Years, 5 Months ago
I am upgrading the johnmark site from V1.2. I will publish the process here:

  • > BACKUP THE SITE DIRECTORY!

    > Delete everything in the website root directory except your main flash website. Don't delete anything in the flashblocks/ data directory either of course. You will want to keep those.

    > Now copy all the new V1.4 flashblocks_ files into the website root directory

  • At this point, if you are using only system font, everything should be working perfectly.

Please read the full instructions, upgrading to V1.4.x.htm, for info on upgrading the embedded font system.
