Flashblocks 3.0.7.2 has been released with a new gallery and slide show component. Features include: generation of gallery from dir or xml, auto generated thumbnails and more. Also in this update is a new API to Manipulate data directly without an Editblock needing to be present, several Mediablock bug fixes, More. As always, the updates can be fond under the user menu after logging in. |

Flashblocks 3 for actionscript 3 is in the final stages of beta and available in the Flashblocks store. It is available for both first time Flashblocks users and as a half price upgrade for existing users.

 Mediablock/Image insertion is now included in the FlashText Flash HTML Editor. The latest version of Flashblocks ML includes several requested additions, minor bug fixes and greater security. The HTML Editor has been replaced with the new FlashText Editor, supporting style control and embedded fonts. The Gallery Module has been updated with horizontal scrolling and image grid options. The File Manager new supports an alternate uploading option for compatibility with stubborn servers.

This release fixes a small bug in the FlashText HTML Editor and the demo site loading bar. Also, the ReadMe.htm file has been updated with more information on the FlashText HTML Editor.

This is a major update. Several bugs are fixed. A multi data file templating system is now built into the Flashblocks component. The internal linking system has been overhauled with SWFAddress in mind. The serverSide directory can now be password protected and/or moved below the website root for added security. XML and file editors now expand when opened. Added lite version of the login dialog - set the default language in the flashblocks_config.xml file. And finally, a Spanish translation, thanks to Enrique Errando elpuntografico.com

The is a recommended update as there are several core enhancements and small bugs fixed. The Mediablock component has been updated with a smart auto cache system. 'Save' appears only when necessary. The xml editor is now integrated with the html editor. The html editor background color changes when text is white, absent fonts are replaced with present fonts, and the newText styles attribute added. The file manager now allows selection from the directory tree. The core menu system has been updated with a help option. The Gallery module may be created from XML file or a directory of images. Flashblocks has been updated with the Greek language thanks to Orestis Mammis at www.imb.gr
