By purchasing, downloading, and using our products, you agree that you have read and understood: this Disclaimer, License Agreement, Privacy Policy, Return Policy, and accept its contents.

To our knowledge, Flashblocks is safe and secure. However, we take no responsibility for products or bugs leading to data loss, security breaches, business interuption, loss of business, or the like. If you see an issue with the Flashblocks CMS product, please contact Flashblocks.com and we will work to solve the issue if and when it is possible to do so.

By purchasing any Flashblocks product, you agree to the terms and conditions of this Disclaimer and the agreements and policies which follow.  If at any time, you have an issue with the Flashblocks suite of applications, please contact us for assistance and we will work with you to resolve the matter. 

Furthermore, any software that is made available for download by or through Flashblocks.com is the copyrighted work of Flashblocks. Use of the Flashblocks suite of applications is governed by the terms of the following License Agreement.  The Flashblocks software is made available for downloading solely for use by end users according to the License Agreement.  Any reproduction or redistribution of the software not in accordance with the License Agreement is prohibited.  

 

License Agreement

You may use each individual product on a single website only, belonging to either you or your client. In other words, you must purchase the same product once more in order to make another project with that product.  You are responsible for purchasing these additional licenses from Flashblocks.com.  This remains true even if you have made any modifications to our products.

You may not share or distribute our products nor disclose any order information which includes but is not limited to Order ID, download link, etc.

You may not sub-license, assign, or transfer this license to anyone else.

You may not reproduce or publish, online, offline or in any way, any of our products or code, modified or unmodified.

You may not claim intellectual or exclusive ownership to any of our products, modified or unmodified.

We reserve the right to change or modify these Terms with no prior notice.

Flashblocks is a content management system for Flash Designers, allowing you and your clients to easily create, update and rearrange Flash content from any web browser. Content is edited intuitively while browsing, therefore there is practically no learning curve nor client training required.  Simply login, mouse over glowing areas in your Flash website, select an editor from the menu, and immediately begin changing content.  The service offered by Flashblocks.com, (collectively, "Flashblocks", “us”, "we" or “the Company”) include the Flashblocks Web Site (the "Site"), the Flashblocks suite of software applications and any other features, content, or applications offered over time by Flashblocks in connection with the Site (collectively, the "Service"). The Flashblocks Service is hosted in the U.S.


The following documentation embodies the Flashblocks privacy policy ("Privacy Policy"). The Flashblocks Privacy Policy only governs information collected by Flashblocks. Flashblocks understands the importance of providing users of the Service with protection of their personal data. The Service prohibits the distribution of personal data to be viewed and shared with other people using the Service.This Privacy Policy defines how information collected through the Site is treated by the Company.  Please review the Flashblocks Privacy Policy frequently, as it may be changed or updated at any time, without notice. Any changes to this Privacy Policy will be effective immediately upon the posting of the revised Privacy Policy on the Flashblocks website. Your use of Flashblocks is subject to the terms of the Flashblocks Terms of Service ("Terms of Service") and, if applicable, the terms of any other user agreement or terms of service which Flashblocks may put into effect over time ("Additional Agreement(s)"). By using Flashblocks in any way, you represent that you understand and agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.


I. THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW IT’S USED
   A. Use of User Submitted Information:
         1. As an integral part of the Service, Flashblocks collects User Submitted Information. In many cases, this information can be classified as “Personally Identifiable Information” that provides the Company with the ability to verify the authenticity of a given user as well as contact users when deemed necessary by the Company. Such information includes but is not limited to name and email address.
         2. There will be times when Flashblocks will use Personally Identifiable Information for internal purposes. For example, if a user wishes purchase any product via download, the user will be asked to provide his or her credit/debit card and billing information. Additional instances where Flashblocks will internally utilize said information include (a) sending users Flashblocks e-mails of any kind, such as new feature notifications, (b) to resolve disputes, problems, and enforce the Flashblocks Terms of Service and any applicable Additional Agreement(s), (c) to respond to questions or issues, (d) any additional terms and conditions applicable to a particular feature of Flashblocks, (e) as otherwise disclosed at the point where such information is collected, and (f) in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy.
         3. In many cases users may willingly submit or post information to any portion or application on Flashblocks, or another public forum, where that information can be accessed by the public and can in turn be used by others to send unsolicited communications. Flashblocks is not responsible for the personally identifiable information users choose to submit on Flashblocks.
         4. Users may choose not to receive any e-mail or other communications from Flashblocks by following the removal instructions in the particular communication you receive, or by sending an e-mail to opt-out to Flashblocks with only the words "opt out" in the subject line.

   B. Use of Non-personally Identifiable Information:
         1. Flashblocks will collect non-personally-identifiable information from users automatically through servers used by the Company. This information includes, but is not limited to, user data and usage patterns, web browser types and versions, and IP addresses. Usage by Flashblocks of this type of data enables the Company to perform standard operations including, but not limited to, studying usage patterns, gathering demographic information about users, and administrating and improving the Service. This non-personally identifiable information may be aggregated and shared with trusted third parties for advertising or other purposes. This information will never personally identify the user.
         2. Flashblocks reserves the right to disclose any user information, be it personally identifiable or non-personally identifiable information, if the Company is required to do so by law or if the Company reasonably believes that such action is necessary in order to: (a) fulfill a government request; (b) conform with the requirements of the law or to comply with legal process served on us; (c) to protect or defend our legal rights or property, the Site, or its users; or (d) in an emergency to protect the health and safety of the Site's users or the general public.


   C. Use of Cookies
         1. Flashblocks stores specific information from users’ browsers using "cookies", or parcels of text sent by the Company server to the browser and back. Cookies are used to store visitors' preferences and to record session information, and to authenticate, track, and maintain such preferences and information. Flashblocks employs session ID cookies to confirm that users are logged in; however, these cookies terminate once the user closes the browser. It is a standard industry practice to use a persistent cookie that stores each user’s login ID to make it easier for returning users to log in. Flashblocks uses this practice. Web browsers should have the ability to be configured to accept or reject all or some cookies, or notify you when a cookie is set. 

II. SECURITY
   A. Methods
         1. To become a registered user of the Service, an login username and password is suggested. This password serves as a layer of security and protection over user information. For this reason, it is important that such user-created passwords remain undisclosed to any other person. Password protection as well as any and all activities that occur under that password or account are the sole responsibility of the user.

   B. Limitations
         1. Flashblocks may contain links to third party websites that Flashblocks does not own or maintain. Flashblocks is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on these third party websites. The Flashblocks Privacy Policy only governs information collected on the Site.

Return Policy

Flashblocks.com sells downloaded irrevocable goods. We do not issue refunds once the order is successful.  By ordering a product from Flashblocks.com, you agree that you have read and understood the product specifications and have assessed that they can be used by you in the way that you require.

If you believe you are warranted a refund, we will review requests on a case by case basis and in the process do everything that we can to make sure our products are working to meet your needs.
